She has worked at HDC for over 20 years, and her experience also includes the application of behavior analysis and clinical psychology in a variety of settings, including inpatient and outpatient mental health facilities, forensic institutions, non-profit organizations, and an employee assistance program. Her expertise includes conducting functional assessments and designing behavior analytic treatment plans for individuals, providing support and training to parents and caregivers of individuals with special needs, and facilitating personal, professional and leadership development.

Dr. Church completed her undergraduate studies at the University of South Florida and became certified as a behavior analyst in 1992. She earned a Masters Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University in 1997. A desire to learn more advanced skills to help others led her to pursue a doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the Florida School of Professional Psychology, which she earned in 2005.

Dr. Church places a strong emphasis on individual and environmental variables that maintain behavior. She utilizes a proactive approach designed to teach individuals skills so that they can better adapt to the world around them, and help them create healthy environments and relationships.
